I will be playing principle clarinet for the Vancouver Island Symphony’s concert “Birds of a Feather”. This concert will feature Rautavaar’s Cantus Arcticus (Concerto for Birds and Orchestra), the world premiere of Jocelyn Morlock’s Ornithomancy featuring flute soloist Paolo Bortolussi, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6. Sisi Liu and I will be performing a concert in Chemainus for clarinet and piano . We are in the process of creating the programme and it is evolving into very exciting programme of varied music for clarinet and piano.
I will be playing in the pit orchestra for UBC Opera’s production of Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélite. Performances will take place February 7, 8, 9 at 8pm and February 10 at 2pm. All shows will be a the Chan Centre on the UBC Campus.
I will be performing three concerts of all Canadian works for flute, clarinet, and cello with the Novo Ensemble this coming January. We will be performing exciting works by Leslie Mann and Omar Daniels.

The Vancouver Clarinet Trio, Kate Frobeen, Liam Hockley, and I, will be performing a concert titled “Incarnadine” at the Canadian Music Centre in Vancouver. We are excited to premier a new work by BC composer, Nathan Friedman.
Christine Eggert and I have been performing concerts organized by the Health Arts Society for people in long term care throughout Vancouver. Recently we have performed two concerts, and we are excited to perform two more in November.
I performed The Carnival of the Animals with Music Corner in Victoria, July 11th in Beacon Hill Park. It was a great show with lots of enthusiastic children who love music! Thanks to Music Corner for inviting me to be a part of their quartet!
